We’re Waiting Sony Netbook
Since the rumor spreading back in July, Sony still unclear about its exact plan to joining the netbook market. After OLPC, Asus, Intel, MSI, Acer, HP, Dell, Toshiba, and Sumsung enter the market, it seems Sony doesn’t want be left behind too far away.
At a recent press event, Mike Abary, Sony’s Senior VP of Information Technology Products, was asked about netbooks and said: “Sony has to participate because consumers are our core competency. We have to participate.”
Sony Vaio Z, I want It
Announced a month ago, the new Vaio Z series is already available at sonystyle.com for $1800. This laptop is so small but features what the big and advance laptop should have. Configured with 13.1-inch wide screen and weighing at only 1.3kg, this laptop is a great companion for traveling. Hot features: LED Backlight, 1600 x 900 Resolution, Blu-ray Disc RW drive, SSD storage, and 802.11n wireless LAN.

The Sony Vaio FW ‘Centrino 2′ Laptops
The new Centrino 2 based laptop Sony Vaio FW series should be already available at Sony Style® stores and select retailers around the country since the end of July, the reports said. The laptop offers HD experiences on the go with the winning Blu-Ray format. Regarding display, the FW series boasts 16.4” LCD with a Full HD Resolution (16:9) as well as XBRITE-HiColor LCD Technology.

Sony To Enter Cheap Laptop Market
Sony decided to adopt Via’s OpenBook design and get ready to join the low-cost mini-notebook market. Major laptop manufactures including HP, Intel, Acer, and MSI already joining the market to compete head-to-head with OLPC or Eee PC. It seems Sony can’t stand to dismiss the market, it’s better to become late than never.
The mini notebook has an 8.9-inch screen, at least an 80GB hard drive, will use a 1.6-Gigahertz C7-M processor from Via, and sports a VX800 chipset. The prototype on display was running Windows Vista Home Basic.

Sony Vaio Penryn Laptops is Coming
New Santa Rosa Refresh based laptop with Penryn processor being produced by Sony. Penryn which known as 45-nanometer Core 2 Duo Mobile processor is the latest technology from Intel for mobile computer. And Sony ready to adopt the technology for the VAIO AR7, FZ4, and SA7 laptop series.

Sony Vaio G2 Coming in October
The Vaio G2 was reported to be available next month (October 2007) in Japan, but the other countries need to wait a little longer to see it at shops. The G2 is built upon the Intel Mobile Computing platform and it is powered by Intel Core 2 Duo family (U7600 or U7500 models). Other specification include SSD (solid state drive) up to 64GB, USB 2.0, memory card slot, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g, Gigabit Ethernet, and fingerprint recognition.
Running on Windows XP or Vista, the new Sony Vaio G2 was reported that its Li-Ion battery offers 11 hours of non stop operation. Available in 3 different colors of choice, this laptop will come with a price tag from $1346 to $2392 (depending on configuration).

New Sony Vaio L Series
Coming with various colors of choices including pink, Sony releases its new Vaio L series product line in three different monitor sizes: 15.4, 19, and 22-inch. The Vaio L features folded keyboard that make it unique on its own. As mentioned by AkihabaraNews editor, this L series is his second choice after iMac, but i think you have different opinions.
